In the future, I will have a successful marketing career and being able to travel and see many new things will help broaden my perspective on not only a personal level, but also a professional one. E‍‍‍ven if I don't end up traveling the world the research on the countries and places I wish to visit will help give me new ideas.

Travels

I haven't gone many places and I think that is what brought me to create My Travel Bucket List. I thought that if I had the destinations written down, I'd have more incentive to follow up on those plans and have the satisfaction of checking off their boxes.

The only places that I've traveled outside of Canada have been Germany and the United States. While in Germany I especially enjoyed the food. My travels to the United States brought me to Florida to visit DisneyWorld where the excitement never stopped!

Just a T‍‍‍iny Little Intro

Welcome, my name is Amy Wakerell and I'm finishing up my last year at the University of Ottawa and can't wait to take some time to travel. To be honest, the thought of traveling never seemed to appeal to me. I'm usually that one person out of my friend group that likes to stay at home and simply relax. However, after so many years of doing just that, my mind has gathered up so many places I'd like to visit and thus My Travel Bucket List was created!

One of the best ways to motivate me is through food. Tell me there's going to be fantastic food and I'm always down to go anywhere.

Animals are one of the things I like most in this world, when people say "are you a cat or dog person" I just can't choose! Sadly enough I don't own a pet but when I do, I'd love to get an Alaskan Malamute, a Chow Chow and I'd love to get a Bengal cat.  

Like most people one of my favorite things to do is sit down and binge watch shows on Netflix.

Different cultures also fascinate me and make me want to learn more. Which started to pique my interest in traveling to different places.

I'll finish off by saying I love drawing. I may very well not be the best at it but I enjoy it all the same.‍‍‍

Pe‍‍‍rsonality

My‍‍‍ friends would describe me as easy going, hardworking and a good listener. I am someone who has a lot of curiosity, I will not be afraid to ask questions of clarification or speak my mind in a group. I never leave projects unfinished and always love working on things ahead of schedule. I love creating and trying new things, whether it be something big or small. I love to save up my money and usually only spend on things I know I will use and need. The only exception to this being food.
