My Travel Bucket List Item Number 1: 3,900 Feet Long Rush

Travel has always been one of the many things I want to experience in life. With an ever growing list of places I want to visit, my bucket list simply grows. In my life time, the only places I've gone are Germany and the United States. These vacations helped me grow interest in traveling. In all honesty, the initial plane rides and exhaustion from traveling can be tough but when you finally arrive in the country you've dreamed of visiting all the fatigue would suddenly disappear.  Wanting to feel that excitement and happiness more than a few times is a goal of mine.

South Korea

With a distance of approximately 10,565km South Korea is on the other side of the world from Canada. It's one of the places I want to visit the most in my life time. Korea is known for having rich culture and plenty of different touristic activities. Korea is known for their street food and shopping districts. After some research into more active touristic activities, I found that South Korea has the longest and fastest zip line in Asia. If I travel to this country it would one of the ventures I would want to tackle.

Arii Hills

Arii Hills is one of the places I wish to visit and check off my travel bucket list. It's one of my dreamed destinations. There are a few activities I would like to do If ever given the chance to travel here. The two major attractions in the area are the skywalk and the zip wire.

The following website is fully in Korean but shows the different attractions of Arii Hills.

Skywalk

This is a skywalk that oversees Korea's nature. This skywalk is 11 meters and projected off a cliff at an altitude of 583m, it has tempered glass and is shaped in a U. The tempered glass helps give the illusion of walking in the sky. This would be an ideal place for exceptional pictures and simply relaxing with a beautiful view. It gives you stillness and a moment of peace to appreciate the view that might not be taken in while doing the zip lining.

Zip Wire

My main reason for wanting to visit Arii Hills is this zip lining experience. This zip wire is said to be the longest and fastest in Asia. With a length of 3,900 feet and an average speed of 60 miles per hour the drop is sure to give a great thrill. Being a person how loves adventure anything that makes my stomach drop is something I'd want to try! The seconds before they open the gates and send me soaring through the sky is sure to be one of the most suspenseful experiences in my life. I can simply image the wind in my hair and the view blur before my eyes. The height might be intimidating at first but will only add to the excitement of actually going through with zip lining down.

The following site shows the information about the zip wire located in Jeong Seon County and their operations in other countries too.
